Dataram Rallies on Deal to Acquire U.S. Gold

Shares of Dataram were as much as 38% higher into Tuesday’s close after the manufacturer of memory products said that it has finalized and filed the third and last amendment to its definitive deal to acquire U.S. Gold Corp., which controls the Copper King gold exploration project in Wyoming.

The original agreement, which was entered into in June 2016, was subsequently amended to reflect the impact of certain capital market transactions of U.S. Gold.

The transaction is expected to close by the end of Q1, subject to regulatory reviews and shareholder approval.  DRAM was trading at $1.42, near the low of its 52-week range of $0.81 to $5.07.
