NextEra Energy, a power generation company, reported Q4 adjusted EPS of $1.21, up from $1.17 in the same period a year ago and missing the estimate of $1.30 from analysts polled by CapIQ.
Total revenues of $3.70 billion were down from $4.07 billion in the same period a year ago and fell short of the Street projection of $4.6 billion.
NextEra Energy expects full year adjusted EPS in the range of $6.35 to $6.85, straddling the Street estimate of $6.56. The company increased its previously announced range for 2018 from $6.60 to $7.10 to $6.80 to $7.30. Analysts are expecting 2018 EPS of $7.04.
