Technology Stocks Mostly Firmer In Pre-Market Trade

Technology shares were mostly higher in pre-market trade on Friday. In technology stocks news, Mobileye N.V (MBLY) was up 1.2% after it said it is collaborating with Lucid Motors to enable autonomous driving capability on Lucid vehicles. Mobileye will provide the primary computer platform, full 8-camera surround view processing, sensor fusion software, Road Experience Management crowd-based localization capability, and reinforcement learning algorithms for Driving Policy.

And, Apple (AAPL) is seeking tax concessions from the Indian government on iPhones that it plans to manufacture in the country, according to a report from Bloomberg that cited a person with knowledge of the matter as saying. The report said the company wrote to India’s industry ministry last month seeking lower import and manufacturing duties. The concessions should continue even after India rolls out a planned goods and services tax, which is expected to subsume all existing tariffs in the country, the person said. AAPL shares were up 0.3%.
